Three public federal filing systems, and the official bulk files of the Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, and Texas business registries. Every fact on a result card names the one it came from and the date of the file or filing.
IRS Exempt Organizations Business Master File
Every organization the IRS recognizes as tax-exempt: EIN, name, address, subsection, ruling date, deductibility, foundation classification, latest filing period, and financial codes. Published monthly under Internal Revenue Code section 6104.

Department of Labor Form 5500 and 5500-SF datasets
Annual filings for employer benefit plans: sponsor EIN, name, address, plan name and number, participants, plan features, administrator, and the date the Department received the filing. Public under ERISA section 104(a). One-participant plans file a different form that is not public and is never inferred here.
Form 5500: 176,268 organizations from 700,937 filings (plan years 2022 to 2024); newest record 2026-08-24. Form 5500-SF: 823,055 organizations from 2,275,663 filings (plan years 2022 to 2024); newest record 2026-08-24.
SEC EDGAR company submissions
Every company that files with the Securities and Exchange Commission: EIN, name, former names, state of incorporation, industry code, ticker, and latest filing. Individuals who file as insiders are excluded.

Florida Division of Corporations bulk corporate data (Sunbiz)
The Division's own quarterly snapshot and daily update files, published on its public SFTP server: document number, name, status, filing type, addresses, formation date, federal employer identification number, registered agent, and up to six officers. Offered as is for informational purposes; nothing is taken from the search portal.
Loaded: 12,991,059 registrations (all registrations, active and inactive); file dated 2026-10-19.
New York Department of State, Active Corporations: Beginning 1800 (data.ny.gov)
The Division of Corporations' open-data export of active entities: DOS ID, current name, initial filing date, county, jurisdiction, entity type, the address for service of process, and the registered agent and chief executive where filed. Active entities only, no EIN, under the Open NY terms of use.

Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, Active Franchise Taxpayers (data.texas.gov)
The Comptroller's open-data file of active franchise-tax accounts: taxpayer number, name, address, organizational type, Secretary of State file number, charter date and status, right-to-transact status, and NAICS code. Active accounts only, refreshed monthly. Where the taxpayer number embeds the EIN it is shown; agents and officers come from the Comptroller's records as they are gathered.
